Hi Bobbi, This reminds me of the pictures you got from an old Polaroid swinger camera. The ones that develop while your looking at them. Beautiful vintage image. Have a great day!
We live just a few blocks from Paper Goods Pond--one of the great blessings of our little home. In the good weather--spring through fall--we walk down there several times a week. It's a lovely spot, no matter the season. We meet such interesting people there, too, like the man who pulled in with the rowboat last night. He told us about an account with Moby Turtle, likening it to the Loch Ness Monster. I suspect some exaggeration...might have been related to the hand-rolled he was smoking.
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.
I like the processing on this. How often are you at the pond? How close do you live to it?
ReplyDeleteGreat processing...very interesting...looks very vintage.
ReplyDeleteyes, silky and smooth, you translated this very well by means of your image. Once more, love the processing.

Nice vintage look.
ReplyDeleteAnother artistic processing job....I love the neutral colors...this is just so interesting.
ReplyDeleteLooks totally vintage, like George Eastman took his new contraption out for a test! Great you got a rower rather than a kayaker to keep this dated.
