Cold

All but a small patch of moving water is frozen on the reservoir. Geese take advantage of the water; but today we saw two coyotes loping across the ice.

  2. Love that saturated blue sky - really stands out above that stark white snow..so cool to see coyotes, we never see them around here!

  3. The deep blue of the sky really gives, to me, the feeling of cold as it contrasts with the white snow. As for coyotes we have a problem with them as they seem to go after small dogs and cats. I am assuming it is the same in your area of the state.

  4. The rule of thirds is applied perfectly here and the colors are awesome. I love this, Bobbie!

  6. A perfect balance of earth, water and sky- all very cold. I love square images- do the iPhone apps do it?

  7. The iPhone takes a rectangular photo, but there are numerous apps that allow for cropping. There are several that actually crop only to a square. Most of those also try to emulate older formats. There's so much to play around with!
