Bobbie... this is great! I especially like the curtain hanging out the window... rather than being just another abandoned building it gives the image an element of intrigue.
Also, I have to thank you for using the iPhone's Hipstamatic app. I have a professional photographer friend that likes to post pics on Facebook of the town he recently moved to. Every once in a while he has "Hipstamatic" shots and I had no idea until now that he's taking some pics with his iPhone! So I thank you for the big hint! Between the two of you.. I'm ready to get an iPhone, not for making phone calls, but to use as a camera!
Actually, the building is now being renovated to become condos. It's situated next to a stream and waterfall, across from Paper Goods Pond. The apartments should be gorgeopus when it's done. If I didn't love my tiny house so well, I'd consider moving there.
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.
