When we rounded the reservoir on our way to church this morning, and the orchard spread out before us, all in full bloom--it just took my breath away. The day was overcast, but the apple blossoms glowed under the lowering sky. Diffuse Glow helps the trees to light up the way they did to my eyes this morning.
Great pic's, I used to live next door to a apple orchord, so these bring back good memories. I used to hang out there climbing the trees and watching the clouds go by.
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.
Wow, you are right about that "apple glow"! That could almost hurt your eyes (if only it weren't that beautiful)!
