Do you get the feeling these people don't want visitors? I used the Replace Color tool to subdue the green of the foliage and play up the vivid red of the warnings.

  1. I'm surprised they didn't chase you off for taking the photo! A nice photo of a not so nice warning.

  2. Definitely don't think I would be visiting them...the subdued green does bring the sign out - good choice of edit!

  3. So who is Roger? Obviously he is more welcoming! Your photo angle and the processing bring the sign out so that is the first thing you notice in the pic. Nice work.

  6. I'd say Roger's friends roam a little too far in search of whatever grows in his orchard! lol Did you see the dog?

Fun shot! (As long as they're not shooting at you!)

  8. Does Roger know about this? Wouldn't it be hysterical if that IS Roger's house? lol
Great shot and perfect color enhancements!

  9. Fun shot and one does wonder about Roger.

The sign really pops with your processing.

  10. Just to provide some background about Roger: Rogers' Orchards is a big apple and peach orchard in Southington CT. I've posted photos of it from time to time as it's shifted from winter to spring. In addition to the orchard, there's a store wherethey sell their fruit. In the fall, you can pick your own. This driveway is located between the store and one of the big stands of apple trees. Perhaps they had people intruding all the time looking to pick or buy apples and it just got the them. But I think the sheer adamant quality of the signs is amusing

  11. That is pretty funny. Maybe Roger had a good thing going before the signs went up. Send people to pick apples from another orchard and then take payment for those apples from the customer. ;-)
