August 5: This is one of the Gothic windows of the cloister of the chapel at Trinity College. The picture was taken from the rose garden. We have a picnic dinner there every Wednesday during the summer as we listen to their carillon concerts. I used the Charcoal filter (for the first time, I think) along with a very soft application of Green Tint.
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.
Those filters give this gorgeous window a very romantic look, looks very classic and love how symmetric the window is!
