    Is there any difference due to the color besides ripeness? I haven't had a mango in years.

    @Steven: I have no clue. Mangoes are sort of an alien species to me. I've had them from time to time, served by other people, and the are delicious. But I have no idea what to do with them myself, or how to buy one. I needed an M, and there they were.
