These four chairs in the plaza at Blue Back Square were abandoned today. there were plenty of shoppers, but with a brisk breeze and temps in the 40s, no one was lingering outdoors. On the other hand, the cafe at Barnes and Noble was packed.

Yes, it looks like winter is arriving for real. I wouldn't be sitting out there! I like the blur
ReplyDeleteLove the picture because of the blur and of the colors - and because of the numbers: It's not only for "Four" but also for "Two" ore "One". Two of the chairs are blurred, two of them are red, one of them is blue and so on, and so on ...
ReplyDeleteHi Bobbi,
ReplyDeleteI'll take the Barnes & Noble chairs. Probably much warmer. Although I like the colors of these. Have a great day!

I can feel the cold breeze blowing over the four chairs.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least there isn't any snow yet, so the colors of the chairs have an inviting aspect.
ReplyDeleteYou and your Lensbaby are getting along so well, this is perfect.
ReplyDeletelike this composition and the green one seems to be hanging free from the ground
ReplyDeleteas for your Q on my shores post, I'm not certain there will be so much ice there this winter, the temperature (in C) has not been below 0 yet... a very strange winter ans as seen on my very strange post I picked chanterelles on december 11 ......
the color of the candles have no special meaning for us, many people use white ones to.The thing here is to burn the candles so that it looks like a stair(if you know what I mean...) Interesting to hear about other rituals, I thinf I saw an example of that last winter, maybe it was on your blog?

These chairs look like they are readying themselves for occupants and trying to look inviting.Too bad the weather/season doesn't cooperate.
