I don't know much about fancy cameras or camera phones because I only have a small Canon and my mobile is just a simple phone. But I know that if something is moving, it is hard to get a focus. That vehicle must have been going at 2mph to get a still shot..so crisp and clean.I like the clarity of this shot. What camera did you use,Bobbie? corinne
@Corinne--This photo (like all the ones from last year's blog and most of the ones from this year( was taken with my iPhone. I don't have a fancy camera (although I do covet one!) My other camera is a basic point-and-shoot. At the time I took the picture, the vehicle was stopped at a red light, so I was able to snag a shot with my phone through the windshield.
I was stopped at a red light! And the truck was SO slow that I'd had plenty of time, knowing it would take forever for it to get going when the light turned.
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.
And then some.
ReplyDeleteIf I keep eating so much on vacation, I might have to wear one of these signs soon :-)
ReplyDeleteit's a very, very well done picture, appears nearly like an image, I like it so much.
ReplyDeleteFun processing. The black and white pencil sketch with the colored sign is great.
ReplyDeleteLove it. Love the selective color too.

You know, it is very important they put that huge yellow sign to inform you this is a oversized load....I don't think you would have noticed lol
ReplyDeletePerfect processing!
Great selective coloring. :)
ReplyDeleteThat must have been annoying. Hope you weren't late!!

ReplyDeleteAnytime that sign sign is on piece of equipment you know it is going to be large.
ReplyDeleteI like the bright yellow sign agains that huge whtever it is. Hope it wasn't a slow one though, can be quite annoying
ReplyDeleteThe selective coloring here really works well to make this a great image.
ReplyDeleteOK now, were you shooting and driving?? but you probably weren't going very fast behind this road hog!! Love your processing!

ReplyDeleteNothing like a being behind a vehicle that is oversized! At least you got a photo out of it!
