We ate out with friends at a delightful place in Meriden that serve gluten free pizza--it's still such a treat for me! These tasty condiments sat in a rack on the side.
I like the rustic look on this and great to have such a variation of extra for personal testa. Glutenfree pizza that you can rely on is quite rare here and when my son was a kid I made a dough on a tray and brought to the pizzeria, they filled it and baked in their oven laying on itäs own plate. He was delighted
Gotta love a restaurant that gives you a choice of Tabasco sauces! I like the iPhone for restaurant pics because it is less obvious that I'm photographing my food than with the dSLR (and less embarrassing to my teens!). Nice processing!
I love what you did around the edges of the picture. It makes me think of some of the old family photos I have that were never glued into an album and are fraying around the edges. Memories. I would sum it all up in 2 words..Vintage Look. corinne
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.
I think I would die without pizza! Glad you were able to enjoy it. Nice shot, and good job with the processing

ReplyDeleteLooks like a warm and inviting place. The framing gives it a rustic look.

ReplyDeleteAnother ordinary scene that you changed into an eye appealing image...the processing is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like it could have been taken in a 1950's diner. Your processing technique really added to that feel.
ReplyDeleteGarlic Tabasco! Food lust. I love the light in this.
ReplyDeleteWe had a rack like this on our Italian restaurant table last night too. Should have photographed it, seeing how nicely yours turned out.

I am a fan of your processing and think it really suits the ambiance of the pizza restaurant. Makes me crave something spicey!
ReplyDeleteI like the processing. I don't like 'hot' things like that though, they burn my mouth and I can't stand it.
ReplyDeleteThe processing really works with this image. The framing is on the "icing" the pizza so to speak.
