On a winter evening, the air turns blue, and the snow chages from glistening white to deeper colors, and shadows gather on the undulating surface. The Watercolor filter deepens the shadows and gives the footsteps an almost sinister quality.
Honestly, it's a most interesting shot, leaving us to wonder, who was it, where was he/she coming from, and where did he/she go to? I almost want to follow the footsteps just to see! (If it weren't so bloomin' cold.)
...is to fill 52 themes, one a week for the year. Some weeks, maybe I'll try to find several photos to fit the themes. Others, I may spend more time trying to perfect one that seems best to represent the theme. Three years of a photo-a-day opened my eyes, now I want to hone my skills.
Somehow, a camera allows me to see more deeply and awakens the eye. For me, undertaking these year-long challenges is a way to become more aware of the world that swirls around me.

The colors and shadows are great and add a lot of mystery to the shot.
